Cirencester Town squad 2011-12
Goalkeeper Danny Greaves has come up against the Canaries in his time at Clevedon Town. Matt Sysum has had two spells with Cirencester after coming through Gloucester’s youth scheme. Andy Gunn is a tough tackling defender who joined Ciren in February 2011 from Bishop’s Cleeve. Zac Westlake made the breakthrough from the youth team a couple of years back. Neil Arndale, an experienced player, returned to the club in the close season to take the right back shirt. Midfielder Ellis Dunton is another player who has come through the club’s youth system. Richard Mansell is another former Bishop’s Cleeve player. James Mortimer-Jones is a hard working player who joined the club from Didcot Town in October 2010. Jamie Reid has had two spells with both Gloucester City and Cirencester. Tom Etheridge has played for Chippenham and Evesham. He is one of three brothers to come through Cirencester’s academy. Will Loughman joined the club in the close season after being released by Hereford United. Mike Tambling joined Cirencester from Gloucester. He is related to former Chelsea and England forward Bobby Tambling. Striker Jody Bevan has had two spells with Ciren as well as stints with Weston, Cinderford, Gloucester and Trowbridge. Cirencester recently signed Irish under- 19 international David Murphy on loan from Reading. Paul Banks is a promising young striker who graduated through Cirencester’s youth scheme.
