There are few more prolific goalscorers in non-league football than John, who signed a contract with the Canaries in the summer after a season in which he was top goalscorer in the Southern League Central Division. Born in Enfield on November 1 1984, John has played for Ware, Chesham and Cambridge City. He has scored goals at every club and marked his Hitchin debut with a goal on September 14 2010 at Daventry. He scored 31 goals in 34 games last season.
