The much travelled Tony Fontenelle rejoined Hitchin in the summer after an absence of six years. Now 31 years-old, he has played for a multitude of clubs including Dunstable, Arlesey, Brackley, Kempston, Boreham Wood, Hemel, Chesham, Harrow and Barton Rovers. His first spell with Hitchin was brief, but he impressed the Canaries fans with his enthusiasm and willingness to run at players. Has signed as a utility player, likely to appear at full back or wide.
