Liam was appointed Hitchin captain following the departure of Josh Sozzo to St.Albans City. The son of former Hitchin and Bedford forward Bobby Folds, Liam has been remarkably consistent since joining the club in December 2005 from Aylesbury United. He played for Bedford, his home town club before joining Kettering in May 2004, staying just a few months before signing for Aylesbury United. As a youngster, Liam was on Aston Villa’s books, eventually playing a number of reserve game for the Villa Park outfit. Can play at full back or central defence. |
