2Mins: Hitchin make the first attack with a through ball from Kieran to Ant who slots a ball through to JT who gets a shot off, for which the Clapton keeper made a comfortable save. 3 Mins: Hitchin make another attack with Sam getting through onto goal but the Clapton keeper denies him. 5 Mins: Again Clapton have to make a clearance from another Hitchin attack. 6 Mins: Jason makes a good run through from the midfield beating 3 Clapton players and getting a shot off scoring in the bottom right corner SCORE 1 - 0. 8 Mins: Clapton get a free kick that Hitchin are able to deal with. 9 Mins: Hitchin goes on the attack with a run from JT, passing to Jason and then onto Sam making the Clapton defenders scramble the ball out. 11 Mins: Clapton make an attack, getting a long shot off that beats the Hitchin keeper in the bottom right corner. SCORE 1 - 1. 13 Mins: Clapton make another attack that is closed out by Chris getting in a well timed tackle in the penalty box resulting in Clapton having a corner that is dealt with by the Hitchin defence. 15 Mins: Ant makes a run and passes the ball through to Jason who is flagged offside. 17 Mins: Clapton get a free kick but the Hitchin defence deals well with it. 18 Mins: Clapton attacks down the left and are through apart from Chris who gets the ball away to safety. 20 Mins: Hitchin now on the attack with good passing football but the Clapton defence manage to get the ball out of play. 21 Mins: Hitchin pass the ball forward with a pass from Sam to JT but again the Clapton defence manage to deal with it. 23 Mins: Hitchin have another attack with a great pass from JT to Jason but the shot is high and wide. 24 Mins: Hitchin build again resulting in a fabulous shot from Sam that makes the Clapton keeper produced a terrific save. 26 Mins: Again Hitchin on the attack with a shot from JT but wide. 27 Mins: Hitchin are now having the better of the play. 28 Mins: Again the Hitchin team produce good passing football resulting in a shot on goal with a left foot shot from JT that the keeper manages to save. 32 Mins: Clapton make an attack with a long ball forward but Joe gets the ball and clears it back upfield. 34 Mins: Ant lets fly with a long shot after a through ball to him but the Clapton keeper makes a good save. 36 Mins: The next Clapton attack ends with a corner that the Hitchin defence control and clear. 38 Mins: Hitchin now have a corner at the other end and the Clapton defence clear it only as far as JT who manages to get a shot in but it is straight at the keeper.
HALF TIME 1-1
40 Mins: Within seconds of the second half starting Hitchin are awarded a penalty, after Jason is brought down. Kieran volunteers to take the spot kick. He runs up and slots it in the back of the net. SCORE 2 -1 . 43 Mins: Using good passing football Hitchin again attack the Clapton goal but the Clapton defence are able to deal with the attack. 46 Mins: Once again Hitchin attack with good passing football from Sam, Kieran and Jason. 48 Mins: Clapton attack the Hitchin goals which results in Mandla clearing the ball off the goal line, they attack again and manage to get a shot off but the shot is high over the bar. 49 Mins: Hitchin now attack but this time Sam is flagged offside. 50 Mins: Again Hitchin attack and again Sam is called offside, this time the Hitchin supporters disagree with the decision. 51 Mins: Hitchin break with a run down the left from Kieran who passes the ball through to Jason who manages to get round the keeper, but his shot rebounds off the bar and Sam running in is unable to control the ball. 52 Mins: once more Hitchin are on the attack with shots from both JT and Kieran that the Clapton defence put behind for a corner that they manage to deal with. 54 Mins: With a long ball out from Joe to Kieran who crosses it in for Jason but the cross is too strong. 57 Mins: Hitchin are having more chances but the Clapton team are quick to counter when they can. 58 Mins: Hitchin have a throw in to Ant who has a terrific strike on goal but it sails just over the bar. 61 Mins: Clapton attack with a long goal kick but Joe manages to see it to safety. 62 Mins: Clapton have a free kick that is crossed into the Hitchin box and is headed just over the crossbar. 63 Mins: Hitchin attack that ends with a Hitchin corner. JT takes the corner and Sam produces a great header Goal. SCORE 3 – 1. 65 Mins: Clapton make a substitution. 66 Mins; Clapton attack but the Jo deals comfortably. 66 Mins: Hitchin make a substitution; Chris off and Jake on. 67 Mins: Again Hitchin attack the Clapton goal with a terrific strike from Sam forcing an equally terrific save from the Clapton keeper. 69 Mins: Once again good passing football allowed Hitchin a shot with a strike from Jake that goes wide. 70 Mins: Hitchin make a substitution; Kieran off and Lejaun on. 71 Mins: Clapton attack the Hitchin goal but the defence deals with the first attack, as the ball rebounds out Clapton have another shot that Joe manages to get a finger to forcing the ball onto the inside of the post. It rebounds across the goal to the other post and Josh manages to get there first to clear it to safety. Hitchin make a substitution; Mandla off and Alex on. 72 Mins: Another Clapton attack from a free kick sees Hitchin again scramble the ball to safety, after a super save from Joe. 73 Mins: Clapton make a substitution. Hitchin make a substitution; Sam off and Gary on. 74 Mins: Again and again Clapton attack but the Hitchin team manage to fend them off. 75 Mins: Tommy manages to get an important touch on one of the attacks to prevent a certain one on one on goal. 78 Mins: A long goal kick from Joe up to Ant who puts the ball forward to Lejaun who runs it into the box and puts it through the Clapton keeper’s legs. SCORE 4 – 1. 79 Mins: More passing football from Ant, Lejaun, Gary and Jake looking for more goals.
