Hitchin Town FC (EJA Section) Players Code of Conduct

As members of Hitchin Town Football Club (HTFC) Players agree to abide by the following rules and regulations. Players understand that their parent/guardian will also sign a declaration to allow them to become a member of HTFC.

Players agree to :

1. Report to training sessions and matches at the time requested.

2. Wear shin pads for training and matches.

3. Be smartly presented when representing HTFC and wear the correct kit.

4. Not use abusive language to fellow players, players in opposing teams or match officials.

5. Adopt a good attitude towards games, team mates, opponents, coaches, officials and spectators.

6. Respect the ability of opponents - and if greater - learn from it.

7. Respect the decisions of team manager's, especially in relation to team selection and positions.

8. At no time act in any way to bring the name of HTFC into disrepute.

9. Notify the manager (or parent/guardian notify the manager) if at any time unable to attend training or play in a match, and preferably with 24 hours notice.

10. Try to give 100% concentration, energy and dedication in training sessions and in any matches selected to represent the club.

11. Abide by HTFC's Anti Discrimination and Equal Opportunities Policies and to treat anyone we come into contact with equally and fairly.

12. Look after their HTFC kit and return it when requested by the manager.
