Hitchin face two local derbies in the next week, with Bedford Town and Aylesbury United both coming to Top Field.
Bedford have started the season well, but lost their unbeaten record at Carshalton while Aylesbury's form has deteriorated after their opening day win against struggling Billericay.
Bedford's visit revives memories of last season's Easter clash which saw a last minute penalty give Hitchin three valuable points. The Canaries' Carl Williams and Carl Drew, the latter of whom returns after a five game suspension, will be up against their old club.
This year, Hitchin's games with their near neighbours have been shifted from Christmas and Easter, but the turnstiles should still click well north of 500. (Kick Off 7.30pm)
Next Saturday, another healthy crowd should see Hitchin face Aylesbury, who are under new management.
