Players required to join new under 8’s team

Hitchin Town Youth FC are looking to recruit new players to play in a new Under 8’s team in the Royston Crow League – Season 2004-05.

If children are under the age of 8 as at 31st August this year they are eligible to join this team.

Come along and meet Mick Docking, Chairman and Denise Miley, Child Protection Officer/ Under 9’s Manager to register your childs interest at :-

Ickleford Sports and Recreation Ground, Chambers Lane Ickleford on Sunday 13th June 2004 at 12 noon.

We are also looking to introduce keen parents or family or friends to become Managers, Coaches and ‘Soccer Parents’ to help support our new team.

At HTYFC we are trying to introduce new teams at the youngest ages so that we can attract the best players to the club and provide the best continuity in the area for progression throughout all football levels.

We are a tremendously positive organisation for you or your child to get involved with and we are passionate about football and its role in society.

We welcome children and young people from all backgrounds and we’re building links at grass roots levels across our community.

Thanks to us children and young people are’nt just falling in love with sport, they’re learning self discipline, teamwork and commitment, and, they are having fun with friends.
