HTYFC Presentation Evening

Wednesday, June 23 2004

HTYFC held their annual presentation evening on 19th June at the Canary Club for the Mini Soccer teams.

A great evening was had by all as teams from the Under 8's, Under 9's and Under 10's received their individual awards and special awards from the team managers. The Mini Soccer Teams have had good successes this season most notably in the summer tournaments.

Under 8's reached quarter finals of Royston Crow and semi finals of Fairlands Youth Tournaments.

Under 9's reached the final at the Buntingford Tournament and the Under 10's reached the quarter finals of the Royston Crow - but the biggest cheer of the night was reserved for Under 10's displaying their winning trophy "The Mallard Cup" won at that recent tournament.

Parents and helpers received special thanks too from the teams and received a range of `thank yous` which included bouquets, drink and several England shirts not to mention specially personalized Hitchin Town training tops !

Check out the photos below for some shots on the night and also the fantastic cake presented to Denise Miley, Manager of Under 8's which was baked in the shape of , and decorated magnificently as, a Hitchin Town shirt !
