70s legend Martin returns to Hitchin

Former Hitchin defender Tony Martin has been appointed as the club's schools liaision officer.
Martin, one of the most versatile players ever to play for the club, was also on the Canaries coaching staff in the late 1990s. A well respected youth coach, he is also remembered for his outstanding contribution to the Hitchin team in the 1970s.
Mark Burke, responsible for community development at Hitchin said: "Tony is part of the history of this club but he will be making a valuable contribution to the future of it as well."
