Hitchin Town used 55 players in 2007-08, the most in more than a decade. Once more, David Deeney was the model of consistency at Top Field, playing 53 of the Canaries' 57 games in all competitions.
Carl Williams, who has played more games than any other current squad member at Hitchin, played in 49 of the club's games. Williams has now played 384 games for the Canaries and is poised to break the 400 mark next season.
