Hitchin Town have landed a plum pre-season friendly with Luton Town for the third season running.
The Championship side will visit Top Field on Monday July 10, kick off 7.45pm.
“We’re delighted that we will welcome Luton back to Hitchin once more – we have a lot of old friends at Kenilworth Road,” said Assistant Manager Ken Gillard.
Gillard and manager Darren Salton are both former Hatters’ players.
At the same time, the Hitchin v Bedford game, scheduled for July 25, has been cancelled.
There was more good news for the Canaries in the form of the re-signing of Gavin Jaggard and David Deeney.
