Canaries open with glut of home games

Hitchin have three home games in the first four league fixtures in 2007-08, with Chippenham Town the season's first visitors to Top Field on August 18.

The Canaries are at home for the first two games, with Hemel following Chippenham in midweek. The away programme starts at Team Bath and after a short trip to Cheshunt, Hitchin go west for three consecutive away days, at Mangotsfield, Clevedon and Yate.

November is a month on the road for Hitchin, with four consecutive away games at Banbury, Hemel, Gloucester and Bashley.

The Boxing Day game is at Bedford, but at Easter, Hitchin will travel to Tiverton on Bank Holiday Monday (March 24). There is another arduous midweek games for the Canaries in the form of Chippenham on December 4. New opponents this season include Bashley, Brackley and Swindon Supermarine.
