Goalkeeper Richard Wilmot and midfielder Aaran Cavill have both left Hitchin Town this week.
Wilmot, 36, has left the club for Ryman League Hendon. The veteran keeper said he was seeking a fresh challenge. Cavill has signed for his former club Bedford Town after two years with the Canaries.
"Both players have made a good contribution to this club," said Manager Darren Salton. "And I would like to thank them for what they’ve done."
Wilmot had five spells with Hitchin dating back to the 1986-87 season. He was the club’s player of the year in 2003-04 and 2004-05.
There was good news this week for Salton when Neil Pugh and Mark Ducket both signed on for the 2006-07 season.
