Hitchin Town manager Darren Salton has added a centre forward to his squad on the eve of the club's FA Trophy First Qualifying Round tie with Eastbourne Town.
Ricky Miller, was spent a brief period with Corby Town after signing for the club in the summer from Rothwell Town, has joined the Canaries. Miller is not eligible for the FA Cup game with Weymouth next week, but should figure in the Eastbourne tie.
Salton is not underestimating Ryman One South side Eastbourne, who won the Sussex League last season. "This is a big game for both clubs and they will be up for it, the pressure is all on us" he said.
Hitchin will be without goalkeeper Ricky Perks who is suspended, so Martin Bennett will make his full debut for the Canaries.
Eastbourne Town have struggled to get to grips with the Ryman League but are an ambitious club that lives in the shadow of Eastbourne Borough. Their manager Ady Colwell expects his team to fight tooth and nail and produce a gritty display.
