Hitchin Town play host to Ryman Premier Division Margate on Saturday in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup.
The Canaries have never been beaten at home by a Kent-based team in the FA Cup but manager Darren Salton is aware of the tough challenge ahead. "This is a tough tie for us but the way we played on Tuesday night was encouraging. We created plenty of chances and I am confident that the goals will come."
Margate have plenty of experience in their line-up but have gone six Ryman games without a win. They are managed by former Stevenage defender Robin Trott. They have shown some pedigree in the FA Cup, however, beating Chatham and Fisher Athletic away.
Salton knows that his team are just two wins away from a first round place, so the stakes are getting higher. "If we can fight through two more games, we can start dreaming, but we have to concentrate on the task at hand. Margate have a great FA Cup history."
Hitchin will field the same squad as on Tuesday when they drew 0-0 against Rugby Town.
