Hammonds in permanent move to Ware

Stuart Hammonds has left Hitchin for Isthmian First Division side Ware, returning to the club where he spent a loan spell in late-2006.
Hammonds, who joined Hitchin from Bracknell in October 2005, was a popular figure at Top Field. “Stuart is a great lad and was not just part of the squad, but also someone who really helped create an excellent team spirit,” says Hitchin manager Darren Salton.
