Brown joins Canaries

Hitchin Town have signed Bedford goalkeeper Ian Brown just days after two Eagles players moved to Top Field.
Brown joins Chris Dillon and Carl Williams, signed in midweek from Bedford.
Canaries’ manager Darren Salton said that he is keen to have competition for all places at Hitchin and the goalkeeper’s jersey is no exception. "Ian is one of the best goalkeepers in the Southern League and his arrival means we have two good keepers competing for the number one shirt," he said.
Brown, Dillon and Williams will have a chance to meet up with their old team-mates in pre-season. Bedford will visit Hitchin on Tuesday July 25.
