Hitchin play Team Bath tomorrow with Darren Salton's side eager to keep its good start to the season going.
Team Bath, like Hitchin, won in midweek, and experience tells Salton that they will be a difficult side to play against. "Last season they proved a handful for Hitchin and I don't expect that to be any different this time. Every game is difficult in this league."
Hitchin will be full of confidence after beating Northwood 4-2 in midweek, with new signing Thomas Hayes scoring a hat-trick. Hayes' partnership with Josh Sozzo seems to be improving every game and Salton expects the duo to get a lot of goals this season. "They've both got pace and they have an understanding developing," he says.
Team Bath won 1-0 at Evesham on Tuesday night after losing by the same score against Cheshunt on the opening day.
Salton will be without Mark Bridge and Neil Pugh for the Team Bath game.
