Former players banned from Hitchin

Hitchin Town have banned two former players from attending games at Top Field, following an incident at the Hitchin v Halesowen Town game.
Shane Hill and Nathan Frater, who have both played for the club this season, have been banned from entering Top Field as spectators.
At the Hitchin v Halesowen game on December 29, a group of youths made an attempt at provoking Hitchin supporters during the second half of the game. "I would like to thank our supporters for their restraint during this incident," said Chairman Terry Barratt. "Due to their refusal to get involved a potentially nasty incident was avoided."
