18% of crowd were ladies!

Hitchin Town's Ladies Day was a resounding success, with 68 women coming through the gate for the game with Stourport.

Ladies accounted for 18% of the crowd, a remarkable figure given usual female patronage at home gates.

Secretary Roy Izzard, commented: "We are very pleased with this figure and the reaction from people today. I hope those that came for the first time went away thinking of us a club that is very open to new ideas."

The "pink canary" lapel badge went down well, with 15% of the crowd purchasing one of the limited edition badges.
