Best run in eight years beckons: Marlow v Hitchin

In-form Hitchin travel to Marlow hoping to equal their best unbeaten run since the 2002-03 season. Hitchin have not lost since their 3-2 defeat at Soham on December - a nine game unbeaten run that has gathered momentum in the past three weeks.

Not since Robbie O'Keefe's team went 10 without defeat in the autumn of 2002 have Hitchin had such a good run and they go to Marlow with confidence high.
They will be up against a team with one of the worst home records in the Zamaretto Midlands Division. Marlow have lost seven of their 10 home games and ended a poor run with a 2-0 victory at Arlesey Town in midweek.

Hitchin's season got underway with a 3-0 win against Marlow and since then, the Bucks side have been hovering below mid-table.

The Canaries' lead at the top was cut to two points on Tuesday night, but Colin Payne's men have a game in hand on Burnham. They are seven points ahead of Slough and eight in front of Bury, who have played one less than Hitchin's 24.
