LEAGUE CUP FINAL
A memorable 3 days for the squad was completed with a comfortable Cup Final victory against Letchworth, the win giving Hitchin a League and Cup double.
Two goals from captain Junior Morrison just before the break saw Hitchin take a 2-0 lead at half-time. Junior's second, from the penalty spot, was his 50th goal of the campaign.
The second-half saw further goals from Tom James (2), Ryan Ellis and Ashley Fitton, all fine shots from outside the box, as Hitchin turned on the style. The Cup was presented to Junior to spark scenes of celebration from the "double winners".
