This performance was best described as "rusty" after a 4 week break.
Second division Baldock made it hard work with a spirited display on a heavy pitch, but this was the lads' least convincing performance of the season and one to "get out of the system" with tougher challenges ahead.

Progress to the Quarter Finals of the League Cup was secured with goals from Callum Winn, Junior Morrison and Kim Forsythe.
