Hitchin Town Bullets U8s V Hatfield Youth

The Hitchin Town Bullet's were on fire this morning, and finished up with a resounding  7-O win over Hatfield Youth.
 
All the boys worked very hard today, and their positioning was excellent. Rhys wasn't bothered very much in goal, and the few times the ball did reach him, he dealt with it confidently, and showed us some good goal kicks today !!  well done Rhys.
Douglas, Brandon and David were solid in their defence, not letting Hatfield break through, and Daniel, Sam F, and Matthew M, worked very well together in midfield closing down any attacks by Hatfield. Midfield also played some lovely through balls to Peter , who was playing a striker role for us today.
 
The goals in todays match were scored by Peter who netted 5 goals, and Sam F who scored the other 2. Their midfield/ striker partnership worked very well today, so keep it up boys.
( I think Peter earned himself quite a bit of pocket money today !!! I heard groans from his parents as the goals went in. So the " Bank of Dad "had better get topped up for next week, as we want more of the same Pete!!!)
 
Well done boys, a great win, and a special well done to the Hatfield Goalie for a very brave performance today.
