Gosling Youth Mini Soccer Tournament

First tournament of the season for Firesharks on Cup Final day but unfortunately we were not able to emulate Liverpool FC and lost our semi final on a penalty shoot out!

A very good run out for the boys against teams we had not met before playing in the Mid Herts league.
Good performances against Welwyn Pegasus teams, Wodson Park Rovers ,and Panshanger in the league saw us unbeaten and placed first with some seriously good goals from Joe M, Nick, Dom and new boy Matt with some lovely finishing and 3 goals !!

Semi final against Lemsford saw the lads dominate the short game but not convert the many chances we had and the excruciating penalty shoot out ensued.
Good lessons learned as always from these competitions and the team were roundly praised for their performances by opposition managers and the premiership scout who took a long hard look at a couple of Firesharks !!

 
Sunday 14th May
CJ7 Representative Match
 
A representative  side from CJ7's Under 10's played a rep team from the Filmergraphics league at Crawley Green, Luton.  CJ7's won 3-2 with two goals from Nick Freeman.  Firesharks were well represented in this match with Nick, Courtney Cendrecourt and Ryan Cousins all featuring in the game.  The players received a medal of participation - well done boys.
