On a small and uneven pitch, which was heavy underfoot, Hurricanes looked in command from the first whistle.
Lee, Ruman and Harkeerat commanded the midfield and pushed on hard making many chances until the breakthrough, with a goal from Ruman. Lee had a couple of good chances, close free kicks and as the usual whipped in crosses from the right.
Alfie, Callum, Rhys and Simmy, who all had a hand in the clean sheet, worked hard with Sundon Parks keeper kicking high balls with unpredictable bounces.
Harkeerat, Simmy and Alfie all relished the role as attacker. Alfies scorcher may have crossed the line but Oli bundled it over to make it 2-0. Harkeerats usual persistence and hard work paid off with goal number 3. Jack came on after half time with a super strong performance, his diagonal runs split the defence wide open on three or four occasions and could have had a hat trick, but this time it was not to be… only one. 4-0 the final score.
Overall the boys played extremely well as a team, which was reflected in the score line. This is now Hurricanes 3rd win in a row, now nipping at the heels of Celtic and Raynsford…Keep it up boys.
