Hitchin Town Youth U14's travelled over to Luton Town Football Club to enter The Hatters Cup.
This was an extremely well attended tournament with over 144 teams participating over all age groups.
Hitchin Town U14's entered 2 teams, both being in separate groups.
Both teams did extremely well within the group stages. Hitchin Town 1 winning 4 out of their 5 games. Hitchin Town 2 won all 5 games.
It was unfortunate that both Hitchin Town sides met in the semi-finals as it would have been fantastic to see both teams in the Final.
Hitchin Town 1 side of Josh Millet, Matt Morley, Liam Toomey, Gareth Hedges, Daniel Lambeth, Reece Sales, Bryn Reynolds and Kyle Ronald managed secure their place in the final!
A fantastic final with great one touch football saw Hitchin Town score 3 goals and bring home the silverware!
Yet again, no goals were scored against Hitchin throughout the whole tournament, a fantastic achievement.
Congratulations boys, hopefully the first of many over the summer tournaments.
