Firesharks are on FIRE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Winning all 3 matches so far in these early group stages and so are 'top of league group A' . The boys today recorded a record win of 23-0 against unlucky Borough who suffered an onslaught of goals as Firesharks enjoyed themselves on a lovely sunny September morning.
We are facing unknown teams so it has been a delight to see the lads win all 3 games they have played with a total of 36 goals scored and one conceded. Today saw the boys control the game in every aspect so it is hard to pick out individual performances.
Joe F set up 5 of the first 7 goals and completely bossed the right wing, Nick had a goalscoring spree as did Joe M and Courtney. Generous Courtney even went in goal in latter stages to allow Ryan out and he promptly scored too!!
Ethan, Kayne, Dom and Andy covered midfield and defensive responsibilities so all in all the boys had a splendid morning and were again complimented on their attitude and generous responses to the Borough lads at the end of the game.
Great fun for us in a sporting atmosphere with a capable excellent referee.
