Broxbourne Rangers Reds v Hitchin Town Firesharks U11's

A bright sunny morning saw bright sunny Firesharks put 16 goals past Reds.  This ill matched league game saw a comfortable win for Sharks.

Players who caught the eye today were Kieran with some lovely crossing of the ball and great wing play, Courtney for slotting effortlessly between attack and then sweeping intelligently in defence, Callum who always tries to look for a good pass when dispossessing and Joe M with a great midfield performance and some superb through balls.

Most exciting moments were the last 10 minutes when Ryan came out of goal and played as striker.  The boys were trying to put him through …. and score he did - all by himself! Controlling it in the box with a header and then sidestepped the defender to rifle in his first goal of the season!
Reds scored a consolation penalty in the last minute for handball.
23 goals scored in the last two league games - well done scorers.
Equally as important is the generosity of the suppliers who man defensive positions and are the providers but don't get the glory - so well done Ethan, Andy, Ryan, Callum, Oliver, Kayne.
