Stortford kick off, and Hitchin go straight onto the attack. Hitchin soon settle and keep the pressure on the Stortford goal. The pressure is kept up by Hitchin and they win a corner, it is taken and results in a well-taken goal from Kameron.

Hitchin seem to be having plenty of time on the ball and are bossing the game in the first half. Hitchin are passing the ball around well and Stortford are getting little possession. Hitchin's keeper Jake is called into action by a rare attack from Stortford but is well held and it is kick out for another Hitchin attack. Stortford are finding their feet now as the half is nearing an end with a few more attacking moves but the whistle goes for half time.

Hitchin kick-off for the second half. They start where they left off and go on the attack. Kameron scores his second goal at the start of the second half 2-0. Stortford have a very good chance to get a goal back but Hitchin track back well to deny the Stortford striker.

Then Hitchin are soon back putting pressure on the Stortford goal and it's Christian's time to score another goal for Hitchin. Stortford are making some good breaks from their half, only equaled by some valiant defending by Hitchin, they are hanging on to a clean sheet. A good performance from Hitchin thou Stortford allowed them too much time on the ball, so Hitchin had most of the play and keep possession well. A well deserved win.
