A strong first half performance from Firesharks saw 3 goals scored in the first period - and a comfortable win against Leagrave preserved our top of the table position.
Dominic scored two great goals as striker - the first was a through pass from Joe M which the defender seemed to take control of but Doms long legs converted to make it 1-0 , an excellent goal. Ryans long goal kicks are a joy at the moment and one of these upfield and a flick on again by Joe M saw Dom smack it in dead centre of goal 2-0. Nick went on a run and cut in from the left side to volley in a superb third right under the crossbar.
Disappointing lapses of concentration allowed Leagrave one back via a corner. Second half was a slower pace and we seemed unable to get going. Ryan superby and athletically tipped a fine shot over the bar but Leagrave rarely troubled us. From a Joe M corner - Nick bullet headed in a fantastic goal to make it 4-1. Very strong performances today from Dom, Ethan, Joe M and Nick.
