This was a solid performance to make it six points out of six so far in the midweek league.
A penalty midway through the first half broke the deadlock, Junior Morrison being tripped in the box before giving the home side the lead. It was 2-0 a few minutes later with Junior adding his second before a superb Ryan Ellis header from a Lee Goldsmith free-kick made it 3-0 at the break.
The opportunity was taken to make changes and the second-half was more even with the visitors pulling a goal back on the hour with a fine 30 yard drive. This was the first goal the lads have conceded from open play in six Sunday/midweek games so far this season.
A goal from Aaron Mullings in injury time gave a more realistic final score line of 4-1.
