HITCHIN TOWN U18 v ARLESEY TOWN U18 (24 October)
The game at Top Field was much more competitive, with Arlesey keen to avoid a repeat of the previous week's result.
Hitchin cruised in to a two goal lead at the break through a close range Aaron Mullings header and a penalty by Junior Morrison.
A soft goal immediately after the break gave the visitors a life-line but 'keeper Seb Rowland was not seriously troubled for the rest of the game as a well-organised defence kept Arlesey at bay. At the other end Hitchin missed several chances to put the game beyond doubt, in the end running out comfortable winners.
