U14s HAVE A GRAND DAY OUT AT LUTON TOWN

The lads of Hitchin Town COVE enjoyed a fantastic day out at Luton Town FC last weekend.
The boys arrived at the Luton training ground in Stopsley at 11.30am for an hour and a half coaching session followed by
a very welcome and healthy nosh up in the club house... Southern fried chicken, pizza and chips and washed down with Coke!
Then it was all off to Kenilworth Road to watch the big match, Luton Town versus...er...Ebbsfleet United which we were "reliably" informed would be an easy walk-over for the home side as the visitors were struggling near the foot of the table.
The Canaries thoroughly enjoyed themselves as at half time they were allowed on the pitch to show their own skills in front of good few thousand crowd....just a couple more than they're used to performing for on a Sunday!
After the match all the team were presented with a rather nice medal for their trouble and eventually we made our way home about 5.30pm. Maybe the Luton manager went home wishing that he'd let our boys play the second half for them...as Luton LOST 2-3!
